Managing Uncertainty and Adaptive Management

In July 2017 the EPA published the Superfund Task Force Report consisting of five goals and 42 recommendations outlining a reform of the Superfund program. This presentation will dig into a renewed emphasis on Adaptive Management, particularly in context of managing uncertainty by selecting site characterization tools supporting rapid and actionable data acquisition and analysis.

In this webinar attendees will learn how to manage uncertainty and improve confidence in decision-making throughout the project life cycle using a data-driven approach. Site characterization tools and workflows well suited to Adaptive Management principles will be emphasized. These include a quick review of real-time investigation technologies and a more in-depth review of the resulting data analyses and visualization techniques listed below.
