David Moon
Senior Driller
David Moon has been a key part of the Cascade team since 2007, bringing 18 years of experience, technical skill, and mentorship to his role as Senior Driller. Known for his professionalism and commitment to safety, David plays a leadership role on a wide range of high-profile projects in the Northeast.
He is highly experienced in sonic drilling, geotechnical sampling, Geoprobe work, hollow-stem augers, and air hammering. In addition to his deep technical knowledge, David holds an impressive list of certifications—from OSHA and HAZWOPER to multiple rig-specific credentials, CDL Class B, and more than a dozen site and safety trainings.
David has served as a site foreman on award-winning projects, including the MFS Gowanus Canal job in Brooklyn, NY, and has contributed to complex remediation work for multiple clients.
As a shop steward and mentor, David is dedicated to guiding new hires in safety, compliance, and the values Cascade expects from its team. His leadership reflects a genuine investment in people and performance.
Outside of work, David is a passionate youth basketball coach, family traveler, and lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees. He enjoys spending time with his bulldogs and visiting his hometown in Lake George.
