What Is High Resolution Site Characterization?
High Resolution Site Characterization (HRSC) is accomplished through the acquisition of data at spatial scales commensurate with the spatial structure of the key variables (concentration, hydraulic conductivity, hydraulic head, etc.). In most porous media these vertical scales are in the subfoot range and horizontal scales are a few tens of feet. At many, if not most, sites this type of investigation is essential for the development of valid Conceptual Site Models, confident decision-making, and cost-effective remediation. Cascade Technical Services provides consultants with integrated site characterization, drilling, in situ remediation and investigation derived waste management services.
